Shene Elixir of Life Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky, 49% ABV

Shene Elixir of Life is principally matured in small 20 Litre Australian Apera casks methodically crafted. When the spirit reached its height, it was further evolved in well sought after Pedro Ximenez casks from Jerez de la Frontera in Andalusia, Spain. Spanish oak encourages intense flavours, making this a bold and daring whisky, delivering notes of dark velvety chocolate, Christmas pudding, toffee, fruits and nuts. A lovely oily coating that will leave you salivating.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Seductive, with boiled citrus, burnt matches, liquorice, lemon juice and mint.
Palate: Chewy caramel, dessert wine, rum and raisin, Kahulua. Fruit cake, stewed apples, dark chocolate and cocoa give a sweet finish.
